Include your device model, operating system, Scribe.Quest version and the steps that led to the problem. For AI questions, tell us whether you selected ScribeAI Local, ScribeAI Cloud or another provider. Do not send passwords, API keys or private campaign files unless you intend to share their contents.

ScribeAI Local

Open Settings → AI Providers, choose ScribeAI Local and download the quantized LFM3 base model. The download is about 1.1 GB; the campaign adapter is included in the app. Use a reliable internet connection and leave enough free storage for the download.

After downloading, local text generation runs on your device without ScribeAI credits. Keep the app visible while it works. Performance depends on the device, temperature and available memory. Local text AI does not generate pictures; illustrations need a supported image provider.

AI can misunderstand dialogue or invent details. Check recaps and answers against your transcript and notes before relying on them.

Recording and sessions

Make sure everyone agrees before recording. Scribe.Quest needs microphone and speech-recognition permissions for table sessions. You can review those permissions in system Settings. Discord sessions need the bot and channel permissions described by the in-app setup guide.

To leave an end-session confirmation without finishing, choose Keep playing. When you are ready, choose End again and complete the confirmation.

Purchases and cloud credits

The Game Master Unlock is a one-time purchase. ScribeAI Cloud uses a separate credit balance. Sign in to ScribeAI with the same Apple identity to use the associated entitlement and balance across devices. Use Restore Purchases in the ScribeAI account settings if an existing unlock is missing.

StoreKit shows the available products and localized prices before purchase. TestFlight purchases are sandbox transactions and do not provide a production App Store balance.

Your campaign and account

Campaigns are saved on your device. Export important finished sessions and keep copies before removing the app or changing devices. Shared bundles may contain transcripts, recaps, illustrations and campaign context, so share them only with the people you intend.

For ScribeAI account deletion, open the ScribeAI account settings and choose Delete ScribeAI account. For questions about retained purchase or billing records, contact support@scribe.quest. The privacy policy explains local storage and connected services.
